How does the kitchen reflect you?
For me, the kitchen reflects my style through colour. I feel like people often play it safe, but I wanted the space to show some personality. I chose painted fronts in colours that feel expressive without overwhelming the room. The Own handles are functional but don't take too much attention. It's a mix of practical and fun - which is pretty much how I think a home should be.
What is your advice to someone designing a kitchen that's in the same space as the living room?
Let the colours and materials flow together so the kitchen doesn't feel like a big block in the corner. And make sure you have enough storage space, that's honestly the biggest thing. When you can tuck things away quickly, the space stays calm and the kitchen blends naturally into the living area. It keeps everything feeling open, even when the room itself isn't very big.
